Feldschwarm®: Changing the traditional model of agricultural machinery
A revolutionary change in the development of agricultural machinery - this is Feldschwarm®. Instead of relying on ever larger and increasingly powerful machines, this concept is all about using smaller units that work together intelligently and flexibly in an autonomous swarm. This approach renders agricultural processes more resource-efficient and sustainable. Thanks to the latest technologies like artificial intelligence and advanced human-machine interfaces, the Feldschwarm® is easy to operate and increases productivity. The small width of the vehicles also simplifies transportation in road traffic.
For virtual farmers, this concept is also highly interesting. This research project evolved into a vehicle for Farming Simulator 19, a modular system consisting of a self propelled and a tractor-drawn implement carrier, which in this version is equipped with a 3-meter-wide spring tine cultivator.
In combination with the ‘Courseplay’ mod, the player can enjoy a completely new experience: Managing one or even several vehicles that operate completely autonomously on the field performing uninterrupted work is an exciting new way to play.
