Built in 1948, at an elevation of 5743 feet (1750 meters) above sea level, the airstrip now serves as gateway to the Big Creek Lodge and the nearby Big Creek Campground, which offers visitors the opportunity to camp amid of pristine nature and enjoy the serenity and beauty of the surroundings. Facilities for drinking water, fire pits and sanitary facilities provide visitors with comfort. Regular maintenance of the 3550 feet (1082 meters) long grass strip is carried out to ensure safety.

During the snow-free months from May to October, pilots enjoy the breathtaking views of the untouched countryside with its surrounding mountains, forests, and rivers. An ideal destination for those who appreciate the adventure of bush flying and the peace and isolation of the Payette National Forest!

We always try to be at the highest technical level! PBR textures are used as well as a high-performance detail control, because realistic assets alone are not enough for us! Our goal is to use as few resources as possible in Microsoft Flight Simulator and still set new visual standards!

A living airfield

To breathe life into the scenery, we added animated people and animals. Buildings such as the Big Creek Lodge were built from scratch to match the real one. Many assets were carefully placed by our artists to ensure the credibility of the scene and to create an almost romantic image of the airstrip
